Access procedures

As it is an official university master's degree, access to the Master's degree in Human Resources, Work and Organisations Management (MARHTO) follows the same process as for the other master's degrees. masters of the Miguel Hernández University.

 

To be admitted you must hold an official Spanish university degree or another qualification issued by a higher education institution in the European Union. European Higher Education Area that entitle access to Master's studies in the country issuing the degree. In the case of education systems outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) a level of education equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees must be accredited, which in the country issuing the degree entitles the holder to access postgraduate studies. The management of the pre-registration at UMH is general to all master's degrees. The first term usually opens in May, the second term from July onwards. The pre-registration is online through the UNIVERSITE platform.

 

Documentation

The documentation for the Student Administration Service to be uploaded in the ?Attach documentation? section of the pre-enrolment form is: (in pdf format)

  1. Copy of DNI, NIE (residents in Spain) or passport (foreigners).
  2. Degree that gives access to the Master's degree or accreditation of having applied for the degree and paid the issuing fees.
  3. Official academic certificate including the average mark or SET (Suplemento Europeo al Título).
  4. Curriculum vitae. Brief description of experience and training related to the Master's Degree.
  5. Additional documentation and specific situations (go to admission criteria).

 

Students with an entrance qualification from the UMH do not have to present their ID card, academic certificate or degree, as this information is in the possession of the university.

 

Students who complete their Master's entrance studies in the previous academic year may, in lieu of the degree, submit an application for the Master's degree. declaration to be in a position to complete their studies in the above-mentioned course.

 

In the case of persons with disabilities, a certificate issued by the assessment unit of the Autonomous Community must be attached.

 

As MARHTO takes other factors into account in the admission process, it is necessary to provide additional documentation which is listed in the following point ?admission criteria? This feature is common in masters with excess demand, you must attach certificates or documents proving the merit that is attributed; otherwise, this merit will not be taken into account for admission to the master's degree.

 

Admission Criteria

For admission to the Master's degree it will also be necessary to provide (in pdf, within the additional documentation during pre-enrolment):

  • Academic record of which both the total record and the grades in the subjects of the degree or bachelor's degree corresponding to the lines of work related to the Master's Degree will be assessed.
  • Work and seminars carried out, related to the lines of work related to this Master's Degree. 
  • Profile or professional career related to the lines of work in Psychology of work, organisations and human resources. 
  • Other criteria: items such as: knowledge of languages of scientific interest, preferably English, and knowledge of statistics will be taken into account (these are not exclusive access conditions).
  • An explanatory application form must also be attached. Consideration will be given to the applicant's motivation for the Master's programme and how well the applicant's expectations match the requirements for the Master's programme.

 

Non-Spanish-speaking foreign students must prove that they have a good command of English or Spanish in order to successfully complete the Master's Degree.

 

The application for some scholarships requires additional documentation to be submitted during the enrolment process.

 

Partial Enrolment

The only justified reasons for requesting partial enrolment are: regulated and accredited work activity, high-level sports practice, special educational needs or family responsibilities. It can be requested in September during the ordinary term or during October during the extraordinary term (check dates in case they change). This process will be carried out by means of an application to the Student Administration Service.

 

The university limits the number of students who can do partial enrolment.

 

University Card

The university smart card (TIU) provides access to university services and to benefits or advantages in services and commercial offers. The application for the university card will be made at the Banco Santander office located in Altabix. In case of any problem, the procedure can be managed at the Campus Management Centre. Within the UMHapp application, there is a Virtual University Card.

 

Admission

Provisional and final results can be consulted on a personalised basis at UNIVERSITE with the pre-registration key.

 

Students who already have a place from the previous academic year and who must re-enrol for any reason will enrol in September of the next academic year during the period established by the Study Management Service for second enrolment students.
