5th Conference on a Healthy and Effective Return to Work after Sick Leave due to Temporary Disability

5h
Meeting Room of the Valona Building. Elche Campus. UMH
Free

The next Thursday 22 Maythe Miguel Hernández University (UMH) will host in the Board Room of the Valona Building the 5th Conference on a Healthy and Effective Return to Work after Temporary Disability (TI). This event, organised by the UGT-PV in collaboration with the Occupational Health Research Group SALUD-O of the UMH, aims to analyse, raise awareness and come up with effective proposals to improve the process of returning to work for people who have been temporarily incapacitated. The session can be followed in person or by internet. streaming.

Throughout the day, the importance of ensuring a safe and healthy return to the workplace will be discussed, not only from an individual health perspective, but as a structural challenge involving multiple actors. The organisation stresses that this is not an individual problem, nor is it exclusive to companies or workers, but a systemic challenge that requires coordinated responses between the Labour Authority, the Prevention Services, the Medical Inspectorate, the Social Security and the INSS. In this sense, the conference will encourage debate between all the actors involved on the basis of specific cases and real experiences, with a view to possible joint and viable solutions.
